The Final Project
"Digital Art and Animation in Pakistan"

The link to the documentary has been linked above. Once again, I would like to say that this project, in many ways, is linked to my own perception, love and thoughts for digital art and animation. It is truly fascinating to see that so many people here in Pakistan share these same feelings, and are willing to contribute towards this profession but are bound by the stereotypical nature of society. As an artist myself, I relate to everything that Malaika mentions throughout the entire interview, and because my feelings for these thoughts and ideas are so strong, it eventually brings me closer to this certain topic. Art and animation is something that has power to stir and change hearts, just like any other form of media. It is definitely not something ' childish', that I have been told many times throughout my life. Rather, it is a form of utmost someone's imagination and it is indeed such a nice feeling to experience that fragment of ideas in the best illustrated style and language. As the basic storyline of this documentary implies, it really is important for aspiring artists to understand that their profession should not be bound by any sort of chains- the field of animation and design is absolutely huge and stunning and every single person fond of this should be able to live their dreams. And because I have this same dream, I have learned from my own research and process throughout this project and set a better goal as of how I want to envision myself as an animator in near future.
